Adapting to Change

adapt-word-cube-on-wood-background.pngOur work is not done.  The challenging times of 2020 will roll into the new year and so with that mind, our 2021 overarching theme is “Adapting to Change.” The impact of the pandemic on how our workforce system conducts business has forced all of us to rethink, reimagine, and implement many “Future of Work” ideas.  In 2021, we look to highlight how workforce professionals across the country have addressed the challenges of changes in policy, procedures, and processes to cope with the new reality.  The pandemic has had a dramatic effect on how we do our jobs and underscored how important our services are for jobseekers and businesses.

WorkforceGPS remains the Employment and Training Administration’s primary communications website for the technical assistance support you rely on to meet the needs of your customers.  It also helps you, the publicly-funded workforce system, to communicate with each other thru Communities, Member Directory, and chat features.  Throughout this and coming years, we will continue to build and expand our capabilities to support the needs of the public workforce system professionals like you.

Evaluation Toolkit: Key Elements for State Workforce Agencies

time-rethink-reassess-revaluate-plan-approach.pngAs state workforce development leaders continue to adjust to and rethink the best path forward in these uncertain economic times, they need evidence-based information for informed decisions.  The recently updated Evaluation Toolkit provides state leaders an accessible and practical “how-to” guide for understanding, designing, and implementing workforce program evaluations.  The toolkit’s six sections and appendices offer wide-ranging information, including how to design evaluations, to determine who will conduct evaluations, and to present interim and final study findings. Download and read the updated toolkit now to help your state make the best decisions to serve your stakeholders.

Youth Voice Webinar Celebrates Success
