Focus on Business Services

All this month, WorkforceGPS’s homepage will be featuring successful programs and practices with our business customers.  The impact of the pandemic on the business community has been equally devastating as it has been with individual jobseekers and workers.  Many businesses have had to pivot in the way in which they are operating their business and some new products and technologies have been created during this time.  Many states have expanded their Short-Term Compensation or Shared Work program which preserves employees’ jobs and the employer’s trained workforce during disruptions to the employer’s regular business activity. Check out GPS’s Short-Term Compensation Community for information on how states are using this program.
