Over a period of ten years, the Workforce Innovation Network Initiative (WINs) has successfully demonstrated the usefulness and power of organizations within a community that bring workforce investment organizations together.

Description

These "bridge" organizations are called "intermediaries" and were primarily business associations or Chambers of Commerce in the WINs Initiative. Over a period of ten years, the WINs Initiative coordinated a dozen intermediary local projects with great regional/local workforce investment and economic development success. The purpose of this Webinar is to describe the value that employer organizations add to their local publicly funded workforce investment system and to offer solutions for improving the performance of these partnerships. A specific focus will be on alliance building and marketing to business.
