This webinar will provide Disability Employment Initiative (DEI) grantees with the first in a two-part series establishing an understanding of the workforce development system and establishing the foundation for strategies to increase meaningful and effective employment outcomes for job seekers with disabilities. Upon completion of this training webinar, DEI grantees will have information on the following topics:

  • The foundation of the workforce development system
  • The different funding streams that fund services in the American Job Centers (AJCs)
  • Why access issues exist for people with disabilities who are trying to access and use programs and services in the AJCs
