In this webinar, YouthBuild USA, YouthBuild grantees and guest presenters from the Earth Day Network and ICF International will inspire and equip Department of Labor (DOL) YouthBuild programs with information and tools to get started with or strengthen energy efficient construction and deconstruction practices as a form of community service and environmental education.

Description

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn how to get started integrating green building and deconstruction into YouthBuild construction projects from grantees that have done so successfully and from experts in the field.
  2. Learn the newest version of the ENERGY STAR standards and understand the benefits and challenges of building to ENERGY STAR standards.
  3. Learn how to connect with the largest national Earth Day campaign organized by the Earth Day Network that provides support, resources and visibility to your local activities.
