With the release of updated regulations on Equal Employment Opportunity for Apprenticeship programs, the Employment and Training Administration, Office of Apprenticeship is providing technical assistance and training to assist sponsors in meeting the requirements.  This webinar will focus on how sponsors can ensure a discrimination free workplace by recognizing what is and is not considered discrimination.

Four Key Points of Focus:

  • An overview of protected characteristics
  • A general understanding of the types of actions that may be discriminatory
  • The types of evidence that may show discrimination
  • The types of evidence shows that discrimination did not occur

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of experts in this area, and gain an understanding of how Apprenticeship and Training Representatives (ATRs) have been trained in thinking about and evaluating claims of discrimination in apprenticeship programs.
