This webinar is designed to discuss the recently released Workforce Opportunity for Rural Communities (WORC) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).  This initiative enables impacted communities to develop local and regional workforce development solutions aligned with existing economic development strategies and community partnerships to promote new, sustainable job opportunities and long-term economic vitality.

The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (ETA), in partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) and the Delta Regional Authority (DRA) are hosting this webinar to discuss the requirements of the grant application.  The announcement includes the availability of up to $29.2 million to carry out dislocated worker demonstration projects.

This session will discuss several topics to include eligibility requirements, eligible activities, and the application process.
