This session will explore a variety of questions related to planning for long-term program success, how to make sense of macro data reports about automation, and new technologies that are likely to change jobs in H-1B industries.
Description
What new skills and capacity will programs need in the future? This session will explore how programs can work with their employer partners to plan for changing jobs, new skill requirements, and how to align programs to produce the right talent. Drawing on the TechHire brief “The Future of Work: How Might New Technologies Affect H-1B Industries and Occupations?”, this session will identify some possible approaches.
