A virtual convening to discuss how education and workforce development leaders are moving forward on their efforts to adopt the Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs (IRAP) model in their industries or are considering becoming a U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) recognized Standards Recognition Entity (SRE).

Description

For IRAPs to scale up across the country, the nation’s education and workforce systems must play a critical role in this effort.  Our education and workforce system partners play a vital role in providing training resources, promising workforce development practices, and relevant evidence-based research, ultimately creating innovative approaches to improve the employment prospects of job seekers.  This forum will feature discussions among education and workforce leaders on how they envision incorporating IRAPs into the education and training services offered by their organizations.  The session will also provide an opportunity to share on early efforts and to answer questions you may have.
