Apprenticeships: Closing the Skills Gap grantees at the start of their grant program implementation can learn a lot from their peers. Participants will gain an understanding of strategies used by H-1B Scaling Apprenticeship Through Sector-Based Strategies grantees to address challenges and overcome obstacles experienced in the first year of their grant.
Participants will hear from Scaling Apprenticeship grantees who have successfully navigated the first year of their grant. Presenters will discuss lessons learned during implementation with a focus on aspects they wish they had known when beginning the project. Webinar participants will come away with:
- Potential first year challenges faced by other apprenticeship grantees;
- Creative solutions that meet the needs of businesses and provide a benefit to employers, partners, and/or participants of apprenticeship programs; and
- Innovative ways to accelerate the expansion of apprenticeships and/or improve internal processes to advance the program.
