This webinar will provide a brief overview of the Reemployment and Eligibility Assessment (REA) Impact Study findings and a panel discussion with two states who participated in the REA Impact Studies.  The presenters will answer questions about the REA Impact Study findings and their implications for Re-Employment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) programs and evaluations.

Description

In May 2020, the United States Department of Labor (USDOL) posted a prerecorded webcast to WorkforceGPS that described findings from the recently completed REA Impact Study, and insights from that study that might be useful for states’ RESEA programs and evaluations.  As a follow-up to that webcast, this live webinar will provide a high-level summary of key themes from that pre-recorded webcast and will offer attendees the opportunity to learn about the experiences of states that participated in the REA Impact Study and receive answers to questions about the study.  Specifically, the webinar will include a panel discussion with staff from two states that participated in the REA evaluation.  The state panelists will reflect on their REA evaluation experience, including lessons learned about conducting the evaluation and working with an evaluator.  The webinar presenters will then answer pre-submitted questions from states about the REA Impact Study findings.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit additional questions to the presenters during the webinar.
