This webinar will provide a review of foundational concepts for accessing and using data for evaluations. Specifically, the presenters will focus on how to identify, access, and assess administrative data sources most relevant for Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program evaluations.
To successfully implement Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program evaluation, evaluators will likely need to identify and draw upon administrative data sources, such as state Unemployment Insurance (UI) data and RESEA program administrative data. This webinar will help RESEA program managers and other state-level staff (e.g., LMI, state UI data administrators) supporting the RESEA evaluation learn about how to identify, access, and assess the appropriateness of administrative data for evaluation purposes. The presenters will discuss how RESEA program managers and their evaluators can work with state UI database administrators and other state workforce agency partners to gather key information about RESEA-relevant administrative data sources. The presenters will also discuss important considerations and best practices for accessing and using administrative data.
