Virtual learning is a reality for many programs now.  There is a continued need to engage all learners and develop multiple channels to strengthen relationships that were previously built in person.

In this webinar, presenters will introduce information highlighted from the Virtual and Hybrid Learning Factsheet, and guest presenters from CAST will share research-based strategies and online resources for various learning platforms that support academics and workforce development.  CAST is a nonprofit educational and research organization that created the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Framework. Grantees will learn about developing virtual environments that support all students’ learning.

Topics will include:

  • Vetting learning platforms for accessibility using the POUR (perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust) principles;
  • Using virtual learning platform tools; and
  • Key questions to ask when planning virtual lessons.
