On May 4, 2021, Labor Secretary Marty Walsh announced the re-establishment of the Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship (ACA) and issued a call for membership nominations.

Description

In support of President Biden’s Executive Order in support of Registered Apprenticeship, the Department seeks to attract a diverse and balanced group of leaders to serve on the ACA. This committee will be asked to provide recommendations to the Department to expand and strengthen a Registered Apprenticeship system that works for all communities and across all industries.

The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is hosting this public webinar to provide stakeholders and interested parties with an overview of the structure and work of the ACA, the Departmental goals around diversity and balance for the Committee, and to answer questions from individuals interesting in applying, or nominating someone to serve on the ACA.
