This webinar will provide an overview of promising practices and strategies for a successful Job Corps Scholars program implementation. 

 

Description

The webinar will introduce grantees to best and promising practices that will ensure the successful implementation of their Job Corps Scholars program.  Examples and information provided will be directly relevant and responsive to the purpose and goals of the Job Corps (JC) Scholars program and the unique needs of the community colleges and their partners. 

Key areas to be covered include:

  • Participant Outreach and Recruitment;
  • Partner and Employer Engagement;
  • Program Design, including communication strategies;
  • Eligibility Processes;
  • Data Collection and Reporting; and
  • Sustainability.
