Incorporating an equity lens into Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program implementation is critical to ensuring strong outcomes for the youth we serve. From outreach and recruitment to service delivery strategies to supportive services and follow-up, equity should be a part of every step of the program lifecycle.
Over the last few years, the Department of Labor has developed a number of technical Assistance (TA) resources to assist WIOA Youth programs deliver comprehensive services to youth who are most in need. This webinar will review those resources and provide you an opportunity to share your technical assistance needs as it relates to how WIOA youth providers can improve youth outcomes through more equitable and inclusive programming. Please join us for this important conversation. What we learn from you will help inform how DOL can best support you in doing this important work.
