The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration's Office of Apprenticeship (OA) will share a resource guide for states focused on accelerating state apprenticeship expansion strategies. The resource guide includes strategies, tactics, and a planning tool to help accelerate progress towards grant-funded state expansion goals. We will also feature state grantees who will share acceleration strategies that have worked in their states.
This webinar will help state grantees accelerate apprenticeship expansion and accelerate progress towards grant goals.
- Explore a new Apprenticeship Expansion Acceleration Strategies resource guide that will highlight short-term “quick win” strategies that may result in quick gains, as well as “acceleration strategies” that may take more time but will likely speed up progress toward goals and shorten timelines for longer-term expansion;
- Understand a related planning tool grantees can use to identify strategies that seem likely to help accelerate progress and develop a plan for implementation; and
- Get a sneak peek at a related Apprenticeship Registration Accelerator Tool that will enable state and federal apprenticeship partners to use concepts of customer-centered design to map, streamline, and speed up the program registration approval process—which will be the focus of two deeper dive webinars in early 2022.
While this webinar is targeted toward state apprenticeship expansion grantees, these resources will also be relevant to any teams looking to accelerate their apprenticeship strategies.
Join OA and Maher staff to explore these resources and talk with your peers who are using some of the featured strategies!
