On November 24, 2014, The U.S. Department of Education, on behalf of Departments of Education (ED), Labor (DOL), and Health and Human Services (HHS), the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) published a Notice Inviting Applications or NIA for new awards for fiscal year (FY) 2014 for The Performance Partnership Pilots (P3) program.
This year’s P3 competition, authorized by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014, will enable up to ten pilot sites to test innovative, outcome-focused strategies to achieve significant improvements in educational, employment, and other key outcomes for disconnected youth using new flexibility to blend existing Federal funds and to seek waivers of associated program requirements. P3 pilots will receive start-up grants to support ongoing planning, streamlined governance, strengthened data infrastructure, improved coordination, and related activities to help pilots improve outcomes for disconnected youth.
